In collaboration with the famous and renowned bh designer Mrs. Amela Radan, I had the honor to be one of the participants in designing and painting fashion clothing. The theme I was guided by was called “Water”, where I presented six rivers from Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnia, Drina, Neretva, Vrbas, Una and Ukrina) and the sights of places and cities through which they flow, as well as the flora and fauna of the region. Fashion creations were made of silk, so it was a challenge for me to paint and face a painting technique unknown to me at the time on a different medium such as silk and work with colors that are strictly intended for this type of material.
We presented the creations at two Fashion week shows; Novi Sad (Serbia) and Budapest (Hungary) – Global Sustainable Fashion Week (GSFW).
Also another challenge for me was to find girls, models with the appropriate constitution and physiognomy who will know how to wear and present these creations in the best possible way as well as the whole organization and the work around the realization of the fashion show.
Now I can say that it was an unforgettable experience, where I gained many skills and pushed my limits.
This fashion experience has taught me how to be like “water” when situations get too hot.
