The search for personal space where she can just be. The cage symbolizes prison and the outside whiteness and softness associates to beauty, to outer state of camouflage while the inside is bloodied vomit that represents inner death caused by lack of freedom to exist just as one is. The vomit fills the cage making the white paper absorb the red colour of the vomit, pus, tears, until it becomes a beautiful flourished red that leads to maturation on this path to freedom. The red means that she still is.
